Laney Schroeder My sincere condolences September 3, 2011
Although I never met Uncle Frank, I know he was a kind man and a very good friend to my parents, Helene and Peter Danzilo, who have now also passed.  Mom and Dad spoke fondly of him-they loved him and all the warm, caring and fun-loving people around him. It is apparent they were not alone in feeling this way.

I was touched by the photos.  What a lovely and loving family.

God bless you all-

Laney (Danzilo) Schroeder and family

To all of Frank's family -

My deepest sympathies to you all at this time.

Uncle Frank
has given me some of the best laughs of my life, as well
as boundless encouragement, support (when I really needed it), and
friendship. He may be gone, but his spirit lives in everyone he touched.

I just wanted to relay a story (Micki, I already sent this to you, so sorry to repeat).

I am visiting family in Connecticut
, and on the night of Frank's passing we went to a local restaurant called Frank's, in his honor. We all went around the table, everyone talking about how
much they love Frank (they've all been to the show and have spent time talking with him). The owner of the restaurant overheard us, and told us he is a fan of the show, and he loves Frank. Then several people at the next table also heard us talking, and told us they are fans as well. We all raised our glasses in a toast to the one and only wonderful Frank Potenza.

He has given joy to so many people!

God bless you all, and heal you in this time of grief.

Love,
Gary

Ann, Sally, Mickey and Chippy,
Everyone in my family is thinking and praying for you guys.  I guess I always enjoyed Frank because he was "back east and familiar" to me--that perfect blend of talkative, ebullient, excited and Italian.  Except he was warm hearted and added some masculinity and security to your oh-so-feminine family.
I remember he would come home later in his security guard uniform and I initially thought to be scared, but instead he was so sweet, kind and warm and funny.
You guys were truly belssed, I could tell he loved you all soooo much.

Lynne Goldberg Adopted Family August 26, 2011
Dear Micky, Ann and Sally and Family,
When I first heard the news, I could not stop the tears from streamiing down my face, for I could not have felt more if Frank were really  my  uncle.
When I called Alan, Jesse and Sam our hearts  all cried together.

I feel blessed to have had him in my life. He had a passion for life and a  keen sense for the things that really matter. We had so many conversations about the importance of family and how much he loved taking his girls everywhere when they were growing up. He always said whatever you did with your life was fine with him as long as you were happy.  His words were an inspriration...

There were so many things to love about him from his genuine kindness to the way he looked after others and made sure everyone else was doing ok before he took care of himself.  His warm smile, his gracious ways, his sincere appreciation for good made him so very special..

We will  always remember his laughter, his sense of humor and  all the fun he brought into our lives. We had so many good times together and always left looking forward to the next time we would see our uncle Frank. Goodnye was always....  We love You...

We are so sorry for your loss and we hope you will find comfort in your memories and knowing  how much love he brought to everyone...

 We love you uncle Frank
Keep heaven laughing..

Uncle Frank was always very kind and courteous to me. Always ready to talk. Over the years we had many conversations about Life the Universe and Everything... Well, lets just say they were very informative conversations which I enjoyed. I am sorry for your loss, it won't be the same on the Kimmel Show without Uncle Frank in the building...
Craig & Karen Powell Heartfelt Condolences August 25, 2011
Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire family. Uncle Frank was always the bright spot for all of my family/friends' visits to the show. He always had time to chat and smile and that will never be forgotten. He truly loved all and we loved him back.
Fred Greissing Bye my friend August 25, 2011
I consider myself very lucky to have been a friend of Uncle Frank.
I will never forget our conversations, both serious and funny ones.
He had a simple genuine wisdom that is rare today.
The best thing about Uncle Frank is that he was a superstar of late night television and for being just one thing. For being himself!

While it is a big loss losing Uncle Frank I have to say that so many of us got more than their fair share of Uncle Frank.

On many occasions I have needed to walk on h
Hollywood boulavard with Uncle Frank for work. I have always had to add at least 30% more time alocation to what we had to do to account for all the paople that would run up to him for a big hug.

My condolences to his imidiate family and his huge adopted one.

Sarai sempre nell mio cuore Zio Fank.

David M Giordano So Sorry for your loss August 25, 2011

Sally, Ann, Micki and the ENTIRE family!

I offer my deepest sympathy for your loss. Although our paths have crossed only on occasion thru the years. It's the quality of those times that make the impression you have all made on me, not the quantity.

Watching your close knit family carry on,  laugh, love, cook, eat, and yes laugh even more is always a pleasure. Although often in the middle of the joke, sometimes even unaware of it, was Uncle Frank. From the first time meeting him, it was instantly apparent it was never about him, it was always about others.
Nobody was not a friend or family. It was always: How are you? And Ok maybe even: Who are you again? I'd answer: Jill's friend, Then he'd say: Jill?  lol you know how it goes from there LOL

I know I am not alone it feeling Uncle Frank was a very special man. A warm, gentle and kind man that loved others. But more than anything else on earth, he loved his girls, and his family!
God Bless you all! I know he will be deeply missed by everyone.
